I think I originally discovered today's guest in the Lucky Bitch Community . I love her practical PR advice and I love how she offers both DIY and done for you options with her services. Her blog is a wealth of information on what PR is and how to make it a part of your business. And this podcast episode is a great place to start!
About Kerri Walker
Kerri Walker is a Public Relations and Marketing consultant based in the UK. She manages the PR for entrepreneurs and is a PR coach to small businesses looking at raising their profile. Kerri’s work history predominantly lies within hospitality sales and marketing working for worldwide brands including Marriott Hotels and Oxfam prior to setting up her own consultancy business.
Currently her services mainly comprise of sourcing media coverage opportunities, writing and distributing press releases, blog writing, PR coaching and event management.
In 2015 Kerri launched The DIY PR Club, a 6-week programme coaching people how to do their own PR to finally get the recognition they and they business deserve, something she is very passionate and excited about. Kerri also creates blog posts, eBooks and other resources giving advice how to manage their own PR too and is working on other ecourse training programmes and her debut book for 2016.
