Into the Woods with Holly Worton

Feb 3, 2020

I'm back again, with another solo episode! Ever since my gorgeous new website launched last week, I've been thinking about how a lot of things are coming together for me. I'm really settling into my work as an author, and I'm getting increasing clarity on my message and the overarching themes of that I want to talk and write about. But this has only been possible because of all my little “failures” along the way.

You can use “failure” to beat yourself up—I certainly have done so in the past—or you can use it for your personal growth. It's your choice. “Failure” is neither good nor bad: it's what you make of it.

What You'll Learn

  • What is failure (and what it's not)
  • How do you know when to give up and when to keep going
  • Questions you need to ask yourself when you feel like a failure
  • What failure is good for
  • The importance of timing and why we need to be patient sometimes
