Into the Woods with Holly Worton

Feb 17, 2020

I'm back again, with another solo episode! This week's topic is very similar to episode 341, The Importance Of Failure + How To Make The Most Of It. It's kind of the flip side of the coin: when you don't exactly feel like a failure, but yet you still feel like you're not good enough. It's a subtle difference, but it's still not great.

What You'll Learn

  • Practical steps you can take when you're not feeling good enough
  • How you can learn from the experience or situation
  • How to get a higher perspective on the experience
  • How to use the situation for your own personal growth and development
  • How to use the experience for good, not to beat yourself up

What to Do

  • Give yourself time + space to look at the situation/experience
  • Identify + acknowledge your feelings
  • Acknowledge that you showed up
  • What have you learned from this?
  • Do you want to do this thing again? Is it important to you? Is it a priority?
  • What you could do differently next time?
  • Where does this experience fit into your overall goals?
  • How else can you improve? Can you get help/support/advice?
  • Celebrate your successes – no matter how big/small
