Into the Woods with Holly Worton

May 18, 2020

I'm back again, with another solo episode! This week I'm talking about something that's always been a big challenge for me: asking for AND accepting help from others. I'm terrible about asking for help and support when I need it, and I'm equally terrible about accepting help and support when others offer it to me out of the blue (because they see I need it!). As is often the case, this episode is as much for me as it is for you. I share tips on how to ask for help, and how to accept it when it's offered.

We're still in lockdown here in the UK, and things haven't changed much since last weekend's update. My moods are still up and down, and I've been pretty stressed lately. Last week, I had to ask for help. And that wasn't easy for me. I thought it would be a great topic for this week's episode because when I'm struggling with something, I often find that my listeners are experiencing similar challenges.

Are you good at asking for help when you need it? Can you accept help when it's offered to you? If not, learn more in this week's episode!
